
Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad
Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin is the current President / Chief Executive Officer of Perodua and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Pacific Lutheran University, Washington, USA .
Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin started his career with Perodua back in 1995 in the Cost Control Unit and was directly involved with the introduction and implementation of the production cost structure . Among his notable achievements are his extensive experience and involvement in the formation of the National Automotive Policy (NAP) and dealing closely with the government through various bodies under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for the purpose of improving the policy on governance planning and corporate body regulation, of which primarily involves automotive industry.
He also played an important role in the establishment of an engine hub (powertrain) in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, in collaboration with Daihatsu Perodua Engine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (opened in 2016) and transmission plant of Akashi Kikai Sdn Bhd (opened in 2015). He is also sits in the Board of Director of Universiti Malaysia Pahang as the representative from private sector.

Tuan Haji Basharuddin Saad
Haji Basharuddin Saad began his career as an officer in utility company and cooperative bank prior to joining Petronas Group in September 1980 as an accountant. He served as Senior Manager, of Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd from 1990 to 1996 and General Manager, Finance of Petronas Gas Berhad from 1996 to 2004. He retired as General Manager, Corporate and Commercial Services of Petronas Gas Berhad in September 2009. Over a period of 29 years with the Petronas Group he assumed various positions within Exploration and Production, Retail Marketing and Gas businesses, and at General Manager and Senior Manager level oversee portfolios which includes finance and accounting, commercial and marketing, contracting and procurement, risk management and company secretarial duties of a listed entity. He also served on two of subsidiary companies board. Haji Basharuddin also provided leadership role for KOPETRO Berhad, (Cooperative Society) over a period of 8 years holding positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer at various intervals.
Haji Basharuddin Saad is currently an advocate & solicitor and syarie counsel with Basharuddin Faizie Iskandar. He was appointed to the Board of Pelaburan MARA Berhad on 2nd February 2012. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He holds a Degree in Law from the University of London and Certificate of Legal Practice from Qualifying Board Malaysia and Diploma in Syariah Legal Practice from International Islamic University, Malaysia

Dato' Mohd Sharil Abdullah
Begin his career with his alma mater, Universiti Technology Malaysia (UTM), Dato' Sharil Abdullah is currently the Chairman of UMP Advanced Sdn. Bhd. and sits in the Board of Director of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). Throughout his colourful career journey, he had been appointed as Board of Trustee with Yayasan Makmur, Board of Authority in Medical Device Authority (MDA), and holds a role as a Director of Industry and Community Collaboration Division in Ministry of Higher Education.
He possessed an extensive experience in the government sector, holds credential positions in Ministry of Health Malaysia and Ministry of Higher Education and also involved in establishing the Action Plan for Malaysia Movement Control Order (MCO) and National Mitigation Plan for Covid-19 Pandemic.
Dato' Sharil completed all his tertiary education in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) – PhD (Wireless Communications), Master in Electrical Engineering (Electronic and Telecommunication), Bachelor Engineering (Electrical – Telecommunication) and Diploma Engineering (Electrical – Communications).

En. Dali Kumar @ Dali bin Sardar
En. Dali’s specific areas of expertise include financial & corporate restructuring and conventional banking derived from his vast working experience. He served as Relationship Manager at Citicorp/ Citibank and was also attached to the Leveraged Buyouts (‘LBO’) and Venture Capital Groups at Citibank New York. Upon his return to Malaysia, he was seconded to Citicorp Capital Sdn Bhd where he served as the Vice President of Citicorp/Citibank in 1990 and as the Executive Director of Citicorp Capital until 1993 where he was eventually promoted as its Managing Director in 1994. En. Dali also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Utama Merchant Bank Berhad in 1996.
He sits as a director of Chuan Huat Resources Bhd, a company listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia and Malaysian General Investment Corporation (MGIC) Bhd as well as on several boards of foreign companies such as Norhtec Corporation Ltd, Thailand and M Development Ltd, Singapore.
En. Dali is currently the director of DTA Capital Group which is a venture capital/private equity and corporate finance set-up involved in mainly venture fund management, direct equity investments, debt raising, mergers & acquisitions, pre-IPO planning and various forms of corporate & financial restructuring.

En. Mohd Sakeri Abdul Kadir
En. Mohd Sakeri Abdul Kadir currently serves as the Undersecretary of the Strategic Financial Control and Corporate Division, Ministry of Finance. Along with coordinating Parliament and Cabinet affairs, public relations, publicity, and feedback/complaint services for the Ministry, he oversees the compliance of the public sector financial management system in terms of governance and audit.
Prior to being appointed to his current position, he served as the Undersecretary of the Statutory Body Strategic Management Division from July 2019 to March 2021. In that capacity, he was responsible for creating and overseeing the application of circulars, rules, and guidelines pertaining to the financial management of Federal Statutory Bodies (Badan Berkanun Persekutuan - BBP) in managing and administering their day-to-day operations, as well as providing advisory services to BBP and the Board of Directors. He was also a pioneering team member in charge of creating the frameworks and concepts for the Outcome Based Budgeting (OBB) system for the public sector.
En. Mohd Sakeri began his career in the Malaysian public sector as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik - PTD) after receiving his Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 1994. From February 1995 to January 2000, he served as an Assistant Secretary in the Economic & International Division of the Ministry of Finance. He participated in bilateral and multilateral consultations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Trade Organization (WTO), and was crucial in coordinating economic relations and international finance.
En. Mohd Sakeri holds a Master of Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from Temple University in Pennsylvania, USA. He also serves as a representative of the Ministry of Finance on the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Board of Directors.

En. Zainudin Othman
En. Zainudin Othman currently serves as Bursar of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) starting from the date he joined the university in 2007. Over the course of 15 years with UMP, En. Zainudin has been instrumental in ensuring the excellent financial management of UMP, as evidenced by the award received by the university, which is a 5-star rating in the Financial Management Auditing UMP Accountability Index by the National Audit Department. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, he specialises in accounting, auditing, taxation and financial consulting.
He began his career with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and held several positions with local organisations. He was formerly the Treasury Manager of International Islamic University Malaysia Gombak Campus from 1990 to 2000 and the General Manager of IIUM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. from 2000 to 2007. En. Zainudin graduated with a Diploma in Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 1987. He further obtained a Bachelor of Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1991. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), as well as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
En. Zainudin has been commissioned as Komander (Kehormat) Pasukan Simpanan Sukarela Tentera Laut DiRaja Malaysia (PSSTLDM) since 2007 and also serves as Komander Kehormat Pasukan Latihan Pegawai Simpanan (PALAPES) Laut UMP. He also holds the positions of Director of MUIP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and MUIP Plantations Sdn. Bhd., as well as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan UMP and a Committee Member of the Board of Finance of UMP Advanced Sdn. Bhd.
